Welcoming you safely to The Norfolk Mead Treatment Rooms

Thank you for booking your appointment at The Norfolk Mead Treatment Rooms. Please read the following information carefully about what you need to know before attending your appointment.
You will be emailed a consultation form five days prior to your arrival.

Please complete this at your earliest convenience so we can contact you regarding any queries before your appointment.

Arrival

Please arrive a maximum of five to ten minutes before your appointment time.

Please arrive through the main Spa front door and check in at reception. If a member of our team is not available to greet you when you arrive, please wait and someone will be with you as soon as possible.

Contra-indications

The following measures have been put in place for the safety of our guests and our staff.
Please note, we may not be able to provide treatments to those who have recently undergone, or are currently undergoing the following:

  • Surgery or an accident in the last twelve weeks
  • Warts/Verrucas, or Coldsores
  • Pregnancy or breast-feeding
  • Heart attack or Stroke within the last twelve months
  • Diagnosed with blood, lymphatic, bone, muscular or skin cancer within the last three years

If you have any difficulties filling in your forms online, please contact us for assistance.

Oncology

We are pleased to offer Oncology Treatments for those touched by cancer. Please notify us upon booking so we can send out a separate Oncology Consultation Form to allow us time to contact you with any queries. Our therapists have undertaken specialist oncology diplomas to perform safe treatments so a doctor's note is usually not required, however some cases will require us to ask for medical approval.

Once we have received your consultation form, we will be able to let you know if this is necessary.

For those wishing to use the spa facilities such as the pool or steam room, we are obliged to obtain a medical note to enable access due to heat and possible contra-actions that could occur.

Our friendly team are on hand should you have any queries or want to discuss things with us before your arrival.

Covid

Please note, following the Covid pandemic, it is now recommended to be re-patch tested for a tint or lash list if you have gone more than six months without a treatment or patch test with us. This is due to heightened sensitivities as a result from vaccinations and Covid itself.

Following government advice, if you have tested positive for Covid or you are displaying any cold/flu/sickness symptoms, we kindly ask that you stay at home. However, please be aware that our forty-eight hour cancellation policy remains in place.
