I really can't fault the Norfolk Mead Hotel - it's a beautiful building with superbly decorated rooms and excellent service, from enquiring about a booking through to checking out I found the staff to be very friendly and only too pleased to help.

We have had afternoon tea here & whilst the food was lovely what stood out most for us was the amazing friendliness of the staff, they were very professional, helpful & polite.

We had a night and dinner at this lovely Hotel, the food is amazing, the staff are very attentive and the rooms are lovely bright and clean. Would definitely visit again. We had a room with a balcony which was a lovely place to drink champagne on a sunny afternoon.

We spent a couple of days here to celebrate a birthday. The Beechnut suite was just perfect a very comfortable and well equipped. The staff were just great very helpful and looked after us to a very high standard.

Simply awesome place. Beautiful grounds, amazing staff, great restaurant and beautiful quaint little rooms.

We had a lovely stay. On arriving we had a great massage, followed by a lovely meal. They were really great in accommodating my food intolerances. All the staff were friendly and so very helpful. We will be booking again, thank you.

Fabulous stay, we only stayed one night could definitely have stayed longer. All the staff are amazing, they cannot do enough for you. Food delicious and the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We stayed in Beechnut and it is stunning.

We visited The Norfolk Mead Hotel for my dad's surprise 60th meal, with some of our family attending from Devon. The location was brilliant and the food was amazing! There were a lot of comments of the brilliant quality of food, choice of wines etc.

Everything was perfect. Not our first stay but our first Murder Mystery. The whole experience was brilliant. So much fun. Food was fantastic, lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. See you again very soon.

Such an amazingly calm and beautiful place to stay. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the food is amazing and the rooms are something else! We loved it, will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone.

Went for the day we where welcomed by a lovely front of house and shown to the beauty area where we had treatments done and they where amazing absolutely lovely staff very professional and made to feel very welcome! Also had an amazing afternoon tea and was absolutely stuffed!

We were so pleased with our Overnight Indulgence visit. The service at the Hotel is outstanding and everyone is so friendly. They go that little bit extra for their guests which is really nice, it makes you feel very special & sets them apart from a lot of other hotels.

I had two nights here and loved it. Lovely old building tastefully appointed. Breakfast was superb, good quality ingredients cooked to perfection, tasted great. Great location for what we wanted. Would recommend.

Not had the pleasure of staying overnight yet but have enjoyed several facials, massages & afternoon teas here. Thoroughly enjoy every visit as the place is lovely & relaxing & the staff are friendly, polite & helpful. Would highly recommend a visit.

We had an utterly perfect visit to the Mead to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday! Staff could not have been more helpful or attentive and the attention to detail was heart warming. That was refreshing in itself, the food on the other hand was sublime!!! Truly fabulous!

Myself and my husband had a short break at the Norfolk Mead hotel recently and once again weren’t disappointed. The service and food were impeccable and the little touches such as the brownies in the room are what makes it stand out. If you’ve never stayed you really should!

Fabulous stay at the Norfolk Mead Hotel. Relaxing break, lovely building, beautiful views and pretty garden. The food was superb. But most of all the kindness and attentiveness of all the staff, especially Liam. Highly recommend.

We stayed in 'Sweet Chestnut', which was really nice & perfect for the three of us, the staff are all lovely & very helpful, we didn't stay for dinner as we had other plans in the area but can highly recommend the breakfast!

Outstanding, in a most understated way. From the friendly welcome to the comfortable bed, nothing seems overt but everything compliments your experience. The staff have to take credit for our enjoyment. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt that they genuinely put me first.

Great venue for an evening meal or a great Sunday lunch ... The Mead has done whatever they can to keep us all safe, from moving tables around so there is no close contact with other tables, the staff have masks on all the time, full table service inside and out ... Full marks.

I visited the Mead for my 30th Birthday and they made me feel very special. We had a three course meal the night we arrived which was the most fancy/tasty meal I've ever had. I used the spa for a massage which was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and professional.

Just back from a stay at this lovely hotel. It was our first visit but won’t be our last. The food was excellent, from the evening meal to breakfast, great range to choose from, all homemade. The staff are a credit to the hotel, friendly, polite, nothing too much trouble.

We booked this hotel for three nights at short notice after our holiday abroad had been cancelled (again) to provide a country escape from life as it is at the moment. The exterior of the hotel and grounds are impressive, and we received a warm welcome from the staff.

Oh my goodness, my favourite place to stay, EVER (and I lived in the Middle East, staying a 5* hotel’s regularly, even the 7* Burj Al Arab). Quaint, stunning grounds, beautiful buildings and staff who went above and beyond. I cannot wait until the new spa opens.
