Based on our initial interpretation, and with fingers crossed that good progress continues to be made against the four outlined conditions for easing restrictions, the key dates affecting us are:
Monday 12th April – The Treatment Rooms will re-open! We are now taking bookings through email at relax@norfolkmead.co.uk. From this date, we can offer Afternoon Tea and hot drinks in our Walled Garden (weather dependent for six people or two households only please). You can book our outside accommodation as holiday lets and we can also legally perform weddings for 15 people. Our Events team will be in touch with all our couples affected by the news today.
Monday 17th May – The Hotel and Restaurant will re-open! We are now taking bookings (for six people or two households only indoors please) through our website, email at info@norfolkmead.co.uk or phone at 01603 737 531 between 10am-4pm, Monday-Friday. We can also host weddings for up to 30 guests.
Monday 21st June …. Dare we even say it? Back to normal?!
We really cannot wait to welcome guests through our doors once again. Between now and 11 April we will continue to offer our Takeaway Afternoon Tea service every weekend, for delivery or collection. You can view the menu for this coming weekend and order here.

If you would just like to get away for a few hours on the beautiful River Bure, our gorgeous six seater English Harbour Yacht will be ready for day boat hire from Monday 12th April. Priced at £100.00 for four hours and £185.00 for a full day; we can also offer Picnics or Afternoon Tea to be served with the boat – please contact info@norfolkmead.co.uk for more details and to book.
