Spa Etiquette Guide

Welcoming you safely to The Norfolk Mead Spa

Thank you for booking your visit to The Norfolk Mead Spa.

Please read the following information carefully about what you need to know before attending your appointment. You should have been emailed a customised consultation form following making your booking. Please complete this at your earliest convenience so we can contact you regarding any queries before your visit.

Arrival

Please only arrive a maximum of 5-10 minutes before your package start time. Arrive through the main Spa front door and check in at reception. If a member of our team is not available to greet you when you arrive, please wait and someone will be with you as soon as possible.

You will be given a locker to keep your belongings which operates on a digi-lock and also contains a towel, role and disposable flip flops for use on the day. Any additional purchases may be placed on a tab for you throughout the day under your booking name.

Please use the shower in the changing rooms before entering the Thermal Suite. Please DO NOT enter wearing fake tan, deodorant, suntan lotion, or soap residue. Please also use the shower following a treatment if massage oils were used, before re-entering the pool.

We advise guests to tie hair up and not submerge head under water when using the hydro-therapy pool, hot tub, or beer spas due to the many jets within.

We politely ask that you turn your phone to silent when entering the spa and avoid use within the relaxation room to enhance relaxation. We also ask that guests respect our ‘quiet zones’ signposted with ‘shh’.

We urge all guests to take responsibility when under the influence of alcohol, and that extra care is taken within thermal suite. Any disorderly behaviour will be intervened by a staff member if such behaviour becomes a nuisance or a danger to themselves or other guests.

Departure

Please dispose of your flip flops in the bin at the end of the day or take them home if you wish. Kindly put your robe and towel in the laundry bins within the changing room on departure.

We do ask all guests to check out at Spa Reception before departing for health and safety reasons and to settle any bills.
