The Norfolk Mead starts working with international travel trade as it joins a new collection of National Park experiences

We are proud to be working with the international travel trade as we join The English National Park Experience Collection, telling the stories of our landscapes and their people #NationalParkExperiences #DiscoverEngland @NPExperiences

The Norfolk Mead in Coltishall has been selected as an accommodation member of the new English National Park Experience Collection. This brand new collection of accommodation options and bookable experiences tells the stories of our iconic National Parks and their people to new visitors from overseas.

The Norfolk Mead is based on the banks of the River Bure in the Broads National Park. Based in a stunning Georgian country house, it offers rooms, dining, weddings, events and spa treatments. With eight acres of riverside grounds, there is even a six seater English Harbour Yacht for guests to hire.

Owner James Holliday commented: “We are delighted to be a member of the National Park Experience Collection. As one of only a few selected accommodation and experience providers in the Broads National Park, we are proud to help promote this beautiful area nationally and internally. We look forward to developing relationships with the other members. Together we can showcase the best of what Norfolk has to offer, and bring more visitors to our fabulous region.

”The Broads National Park, Britain’s largest protected wetland, is the perfect destination for an array of activities including photography and wildlife tours; boat, kayak and paddleboard trips; and discovering the fascinating stories of the city of Norwich. There is so much history attached to the region. The Broads were originally man made as a result of extensive digging of peat in the Middle Ages to provide fuel. Visitors can enjoy the unspoilt beauty of 125 miles of navigable waterways with amazing wildlife including rare butterflies and dragonflies, and striking wide-sky sunsets.
